Sustained edging support.
The Vapor V offers edging with sensitivity. This versatile shoe provides the perfect balance of flexibility and support. Its moderately downturned shape and low to medium-angled toe box results in excellent precision.

USE: sport climbing & bouldering

  • UPPER: Multi-panel upper (7) designed with a seamless big toe panel and a low-rise four-toe panel to achieve the perfect custom-molded fit. The upper features Microfiber for the top panels and suede for the bottom panel. It is equipped with twin Velcro strap closures for effortless entry and quick fastening.
  • INSOLE: It features a full-length Talyn 1.0mm insert extending from heel to toe, effectively distributing force across the entire foot.
  • ACTIVE RANDING: It utilizes the Bi-Tension active randing system, which runs beneath the toes and extends back through the arch of the foot, providing exceptional flexibility with subtle tension.
  • SOLE: 2/3 length Vibram XS Edge sole for superior performance.

For the best performance, climbing shoes should fit tight but not painfully so. A proper fit will help you climb harder and longer.

Experienced climbers strongly disagree on how tight is "tight" and what "comfortable" actually means. Combine this with the fact that all feet are different and that each brand has slightly different sizing standards, and you will understand why it is very hard to give proper advice on climbing shoe sizes. Even sizing recommendations based on your street shoe size will always be hit or miss... but mostly miss.

Having said that, if you're a beginner, expect your climbing shoes to feel much tighter than your street shoes. Do yourself a favor and start with shoes from our comfort range! Your second or even third pair will be smaller, and that's totally ok.

We realise this might not be the shoe size advice you were expecting, but the best we can do is being honest 🙃

This chart is our best shot at an average between the conversion rates used by the different climbing shoe brands, including: Boreal, Scarpa, La Sportiva, Butora, Evolv, Mad Rock, Ocun, Red Chili, Tenaya, Five Ten/Adidas, and Black Diamond.
