Thanks to its carefully designed fit, it offers unique versatility: worn at the usual size, it is ideal for progressing without pain, while a tighter fit transforms the Spider into a true precision weapon, capable of effectively charging micro-holds.

Designed as a hybrid model, it combines the precise support of a ballerina shoe with the practicality of a double Velcro closure for a quick and reliable fit. Its new two-part sole offers a major innovation:

A taut yellow rubber sole that preserves the original shape throughout the life of the shoe and acts as a wear indicator at the toe.

A front zone featuring No-Edge technology on the sides, which provides extra rigidity when flexing and better stability on small holds.

Comfort is not neglected either: its rear pull tabs integrated into the upper avoid any uncomfortable seams on the heel, for a comfortable fit even during prolonged use.

With its 4mm Formula Enduro rubber, the Spider guarantees long-lasting grip, whether indoors or on the rock.

Shoe size advice

For the best performance, climbing shoes should fit tight but not painfully so. A proper fit will help you climb harder and longer.

Experienced climbers strongly disagree on how tight is "tight" and what "comfortable" actually means. Combine this with the fact that all feet are different and that each brand has slightly different sizing standards, and you will understand why it is very hard to give proper advice on climbing shoe sizes. Even sizing recommendations based on your street shoe size will always be hit or miss... but mostly miss.

Having said that, if you're a beginner, expect your climbing shoes to feel much tighter than your street shoes. Do yourself a favor and start with shoes from our comfort range! Your second or even third pair will be smaller, and that's totally ok.

We realise this might not be the shoe size advice you were expecting, but the best we can do is being honest 🙃
